Yesterday was one of those days that I was ready for bed about 6pm when Jen showed up. My sister brought Montana over for me to babysit, and assured me all she would do is sleep... "She's really tired, Chel. Once I leave I'm sure she'll just lay down and go to sleep." Oh, and she did. Jen left, Montana slept, and I was not far behind. I walked her before I went to bed about 9, and Montana hopped up into bed with me. Both of us were out cold until-- oh, maybe 2am. She had just about pushed me off the bed, so I gave her a good, solid shove and she got up and moved over (not without growling a bit). Again, both fast asleep until-- oh, about 4am. She was up, awake, and ready to go outside to do some business. I walk her, bring her back in, and I go back to bed... She, on the other hand... finishes up some dinner and washes it down with a bowl of water before finding her favorite squeaky toy.
*crunch* ... *crunch* ... *lapping water* ... *squeak* ... *squeak! squeak! squeak!*
"Montana! It's 4am. Lay down!"
I hope you all had a more restful night sleep. Oh, and my sister thinks she's getting sick, so she needs more sleep. Mom, get ready, Montana is coming home with me this weekend!
