You might not have known...

So, for our Disciple Now weekend (14-16), the game coordinator wants to do some trivia about the small group leaders (my role). So, she asked all of us for a baby picture, and for an interesting fact (about us) that most people don't know. I'm not sure what gets classified as "interesting"... but I sent out a text message to ten people who know me well asking them what they thought I should use.

So just for fun (and because anyone reading this won't be playing the game this weekend), here's a few things you may not have known...

... I set the parallel squat record in high school for girls (265 lb).
... I can fake sneeze-- but it sounds really real.
... I quit gymnastics because I was too scared to do the activities they wanted me to (like flip over the high uneven bar)
... I sat at the top of a slide for ten minutes (or longer?) because I was too scared to climb back down the ladder and too scared to slide into the pool.
...I won 3rd place in a "Mars: The Red Planet" art competition. (Seriously? Yes.)
...My parents and I actually went to the awards show; my artwork (if you can call it that) was on display and we all laughed when my parents saw it with a 3rd place ribbon. (It had to have been picked out of pitty!)
And last, but not least, one night in high school I unintentionally consumed 11 cans of Mountain Dew in less than 30 minutes. (Never attempt this.)
