Despite the fact that the hockey game did not start until 10:45pm on Friday night (and I'm not much of a night bird) Dede, Aaron, Lexie and I had so much fun! We had a blast watching Shad, Chip and Michael play! They played a great game; Chip and Michael even scored!

My favorite line... Michael, Chip & Shad

Michael scores!

Chip scores!

After the game, which ended at like 12:15am, I made it home safely and crashed into bed. I was up early on Saturday to entertain Montana while Jen worked, and in the afternoon I was going to Fright Fest at 6 Flags... until at 2pm when it was still pretty chilly and the idea of going 60mph on a roller coaster wasn't too appealing... I went home, did some cleaning and grocery shopping, and just enjoyed the pretty and chilly afternoon inside.
Sunday after church, Jen met me up here and we decided to do the Burnt Hickory loop (5 miles) of Kennesaw Mountain. Instead of doing the short, steep, 1 mile up Kennesaw Mountain and then coming down around the backside... we climbed around and up 4 miles and came down the short, steep 1 mile... It made for a great hike!! Much better than I was really expecting, to be honest! Here are some of my favorite pictures from the trip...
What's up there?
Checking out the tree and trail with Momma.
Thirsty... Yep, we carry one water bottle for us, one for her.
Smiling!
Water break!
